How do I sell my tickets?
If you no longer want to or can't use your tickets purchased from Ticketmaster, you can offer them for sale via Ticketmaster Resale. Resale is only available for certain events and currently only for e-tickets and mobile tickets.
Resale of paper or collector tickets is not possible.
Please note that payment will be made in € Euro. Please make sure that the bank account you specify for payment can accept this currency.
You can find a simple step-by-step guide here: https://www.ticketmaster.de/feature/resale/
Once you have listed your tickets via Resale, your tickets will be deactivated and offered for sale again on Ticketmaster.de. If they are sold, you will immediately receive an email confirmation.
How can I share my listing?
You can securely share your listing with anyone using your direct link. After listing your tickets, just copy the URL or share it on X (Twitter), Facebook, WhatsApp and through email or text. You can also find your link under the Ticket Resale section on your order.
When the Event Organizer hasn’t activated resale to the general public, we’ll be unable to display your tickets on the marketplace. If the option becomes available after you’ve created your listing, we’ll notify you and display tickets on Ticketmaster.de.
Is resale available for all events?
No. Resale is only available for certain events and then only for e-tickets and mobile tickets. You can see whether you can offer your tickets via Resale in your customer account when this symbol appears next to the tickets:
What happens after the ticket sale?
Don't worry, you don't have to do anything. You will immediately receive an e-mail informing you that the tickets have been sold. We will then deactivate your tickets and reissue them to the new buyer.
What if my tickets do not sell?
Any tickets that do not sell are yours to use as you wish. Please note that Resale does not guarantee that tickets will be sold at the price you select. We cannot pay for tickets that have not sold.
Can I sell a Resale ticket?
No, Resale tickets cannot be resold a second time.
How and when will I be paid?
Payment will not be made until after the event. We try to make the payment 10 business days after the event has taken place via our payment service provider Adyen. We will make the payment to the bank account you specified when listing tickets. Please note that your bank statement will show our payment provider Adyen as the source of the payment, not Ticketmaster.
To check or update your payment information, simply go to "Upcoming Events", then click on "My Profile" and "Seller Details" and enter the new bank account information there.
How do I update my payment information?
Simply go to "Upcoming Events", then click on "My Profile" & "Seller Details" and enter the new bank account information.
Please note that your name and address must match the bank account information you provide.
Why do I need to verify before I can offer tickets for sale through Resale?
Before payment can be made, our payment processor performs checks to authenticate the information provided at the time of listing. This helps us prevent fraud.
If you encounter any issues during these checks, we may ask you for some documentation to verify the information provided, in accordance with "KYC" (Know Your Customer) requirements. If this is the case, we will send you an email from no-reply@ticketmaster.de to let you know and you can upload the documents in your account by clicking on your "Seller Profile".
How do I cancel my offer?
If your tickets have not been sold yet, you can simply click on the "Cancel Offer" button that appears under your tickets in "My Account". You can put them back on sale until the tickets for the event are taken off sale, which is usually a few days before the event.
If your tickets have already been sold, you cannot cancel the offer.
Can I list a ticket that I received through ticket transfer on Resale?
No, a ticket you received through ticket transfer cannot be listed on Resale.
